Brief Description:  Flight #6, engine testing, 30 minutes

Checked the torque on the prop bolts at 18-20 Lb-Ft per the 5 hour maintenenace requirement. All were still at spec.

Did another engine performance flight to check the operation. Had no hesitations, had about 2900 rpm on climbout, saw about 3350 rpm WOT in level flight at 3500 ft, CHT was running 375-400 F, EGT was about 860 F, and I got an EGT increase of about 110 F when leaned out. The was no noticable RPM or CHT change when running only the primary or secondary ignition. All these numbers are what is expected for a normal running engine, so I'm feeling more confident about the engine performance. Now I'll continue with my flight test plans.

Had a chance to try the DigiTrak heading hold. Worked perfect. With the Alt Hold also engaged, was flying straight and level. Not quite ready to try programming a flight plan and see how it handles GPS course changes.

I seem to have a slightly "heavy" right wing, so I'll need to try to adjust that. I also would like more nose up on the Pitch Trim control, so I'll move the spring clamp on the elevator rod to adjust for that.
